Usually, Dakota Prairie, Leeds-Minnewauken, Adams-Edmore, Four Winds-Warwick, Lakota, Larimore, Langdon, and Munich-Starkweather. I don't know what are the seeds for the tourmament or if all these teams are in it again. These have been the the teams in it for the past couple years.

I had heard that Langdon dropped out of the LR tourney this year? Can anyone else verify this and who replaced them?

Yeah, they are playing Grafton this weekend, I haven't seen a bracket anywhere yet so no idea who picked up the spot. Somebody draw a bye?

I think I have a bracket somewhere, I will look and update the list when I get it! My bad for not having it in the first place!

I'm looking forward to seeing the brackets Indian Alum. Not to get off the subject here, but does anyone know why the girls tourney is call the Lake Region Invitational but the boys tourney is call the Ramsey County Tourney? Also, is FW in the boys tourney this year? I know there was some big debate about it last spring when Langdon dropped out of both of them.

I don't know why they need the DL JV in the boys and girls LR tourney. I mean, yeah, I understand that the tourney is in DL and its probably a couple good games for their JV, but the tourney and DL in general would make so much more money having another out of town class B team in the tourney. It's just common sense, no one that comes to that tourney from out of town wants to see a DL team play. People from out of town will come to see other Class B teams play in the tourney, tho.

I'm sure DL's JV was the last effort. It's tough sometimes to fill tournaments--and I'm guessing they couldn't find another school wanting to get in.

Yes, maybe for this year's girls tourney since Langdon dropped out last spring and I'm sure a lot of schools already had scheduling done or at least started. But, DL's JV has been in the Ramsey County boys tourney for a number of years and that just doesn't make sense to me when you have FW 10 miles down the road that isn't invited to the tourney.

Lakota vs Minn.-Leeds in the last game Saturday. Lakota and Stark-Munich game could be a very good in the semis.

Does anyone know if Melanie Russell, the 6'3" post player for Larimore played in the tournament? I noticed that her name has not appeared in the box scores.

I only saw them play on Friday but she wasn't playing then.

Does anyone know if she is injured or if there are eligibility issues with her?
