Other than to start discussions, do polls really mean anything when no had played a single game yet?

She didn’t finish the VB season either…I’ve heard it may have to do with the heart. If true, hopefully something can be figured out so she may be able to play in college…only time will tell. Hope for recovery for her

If she's out that throws a wrinkle into region 1.

I've heard that D. Smith is cleared to play but may not have the requisite practices in yet.

I don't see the point in them until everyone has played a certain amount of games. Feel the same way about college basketball, but can understand that for promotion of games on TV. At the high school level in North Dakota, seems excessive.

Be a new #1 next week. Big time road win for MPCG

We need to get MPCG into the middle class. If they can beat Central Cass they need to be in the middle class. Small schools will not be able to compete against MPCG.

Well they are so close to Fargo and Grand Forks... and they have their own College... They are almost a Class A school.

What a poor argument. Their enrollment is well below what it used to be. That's the first time they've beat Central Cass in many tries.

:D

Well... I am supporting the 3 Class system but I do believe these will be the arguments in the next few years. I see MPCG kicking butt in the new class. They will be one of those schools at the top and kicking the stuff out of smaller schools... then what is the solution? a 4th Class? BUT what if MPCG goes on to win the State Title this year... Is it because their girls worked their butts off since grade school playing and training all year or is it because they are driving distant to Fargo or Grand Forks?
Also have a college buddy whose daughter plays for them... so just giving him the business....

MPCG has an extremely good junior class. They have some good supporting pieces with their seniors. They definitely benefitted from the coop with Finley-Sharon and the coaching change. With that said after their junior class graduates, it is not going to be all duckies and bunnies for the Pats.

I see four more people voted this week. Those voters must really like Garrison.

I can see a world where CC qualifies for state and still ends up the #1 seed. Grafton could still get a high seed too if they have a solid few weeks before regions. It is fun to watch these good teams challenge themselves with quality out of region games.
