I said this on a facebook post. They have no Seniors, no Juniors and only one Sophomore. Give these girls some time to grow, get stronger and they will be a very good team. Nedrose and South Praire will be great teams with some time.

This isn't about Nedrose.

There's no reason to win 93 to freakin' 9.

This score is a joke and an insult to the game. Rugby showed no class with this win.

If you do a search of the scores many are by more than 30 points. Gotta hand it to the girls for sticking with it, learning and growing. Coaches are doing what they can.

Hate to say it, but young players do not develop when losing games like this. They may get better, but this group will not get better by getting older. They will only get better by being motivated to work on their skills and results like this kill motivation and attitude. Play a JV schedule, a c team schedule. Don't through them to the wolves. Seems to me this is not the opponents fault, but those in charge of doing what is right for the Nedrose players. I hate seeing this, it is not good for the growth of the sport.

I do not have kids at Nedrose or South Praire but I have had kids play a game that they have been beat by quite a bit (70 points); come back the following year and beat that team by one point in double overtime. It can go both ways, it is all in how you allow it to affect you as a team. As coaches and parents, we need to encourage them to stick with it and not pay such close attention to a score when you are delevoping a team. I love watching them improve with each game.
