Best up and coming players

Postby baskets-r-us » Tue Jan 12, 2016 11:05 am

Best underclassmen I seen all year is this Leaf girl from Warwick. She's got some range, pulling up from NBA range with relative ease and she finishes around the rim for how short she is. Any others that are having a good year?

FWM is 7-2. Have beaten North Star and use 3 8th graders and 4 freshman in their regular rotation.

Callie Ronningen from Lakota/Edmore is an 8th grader and is a very solid player.

Agreed. Solid all around. Nice post game. Runs the floor hard, seems to understand the game, good attitude. Should be a good one to watch the next 4-5 years,

Most of these posts involve jr high players and freshmen, so I don't know if a sophomore qualifies as 'up and coming', but Stephanie Miller is having a great soph year for North Star. 18 ppg (and rising -- she's scored 108 in the past 4 games). 56% on 2-ptrs, 50% 3-ptrs, 82% FT, 6.2 rebs, 4.4 asst. She and Kvilvang feed each other a lot of assists.
