Central Cass girls varsity coach Ryan Mears has resigned his coaching position.

A few that have stepped down:
Matt Herman - Ellendale
Randy Syrstad - Milnor
Michael Sorlie - North Sargent
Ryan Mears - Central Cass
Darcy Lehr - Napoleon

Syrstad applied for the head job. Sorlie didn't apply. That's what I was told.

darcy lehr is still the coach in napoleon, the asst coach kevin wolf has resigned

Last I heard (last Thursday) they had no coach yet.

MPCG had a school board meeting Monday evening and I believe the hiring of the girl's basketball coach was on the agenda. Haven't heard anything yet.

They did hire someone on that Thursday. Ryan (?) Mclanahan. He is a local at MPCG and has done a great job with the boys junior high. He knows the game, is very supportive, and should do a great job with the Patriot girls.

Hinsa is right. Ben McClenahen has been hired as the MPCG girls head coach.

I know a number of new coaches have been talked about, but are there any other new ones that haven't been mentioned yet? Girl's basketball isn't that far off and I imagine these new coaches are getting excited to get their teams in the gym and get started.
