Shauna Long scored 28 of Lamar's 68 points in a 68-55 win over Texas State tonight. Shauna made 6 three-pointers (6 of 11) and was 6 of 6 in free throws. 8 of 14 from the field. I watched the game live on Lamar's website. And this was off the bench!

She got the start on Sunday against Missouri State and scored 14 points...so that's 42 points over the past two weeks. Good to see the minutes going up and the success on the floor!

Shauna Long scores 18 points today (39 over the past 3 games) as Lamar is now on a 3 game winning streak in the conference (8-7) overall.

Lamar Cardinals are seeded #1 in the Southland Conference.

Shauna Long has played in every game this season (started 1 game) and plays about 20 minutes/game. She is averaging 10.7 ppg (10.3 ppg in conference play)

Lamar lost today in the semifinals of their Conference Tourney. Shauna Long scored 8 points off the bench.

Lamar finishes season 18-12.
