Who are some of the underclassmen that have been, or will be impressive.

I am aware of Gabbie Bohl and Hannah Stewart of Bishop Ryan. Any others?

Rylee Nudell of Maple Valley. She has been giving teams fits for just an 8th grader.

Betsy Asp from Hankinson is an 8th grader. She's one to watch for in any sport. Also Ridenour from FCT going to be good.

She may have been their best player last year, as a 7th grader.

I went to watched the last Bishop Ryan girls regular season game last night against Turtle Lake-MM.
to my surprise it was the JV game that was one of the best I have seen in awhile.
Triple Overtime with a stolen pass and Ryan JV winning by 1 otherwise maybe a Quad OT?

In that game the 3 JV (8th & 9th graders) from Ryan that have been mentioned in previous post here
were very good, but props go to Mariah Sellon and Kennedy Sondrol from TLMM.

These two need to be put on the list of players to watch, very quick, good ball sense, & excellent shots.
Mariah Sellon very very quick.

Nudell was no doubt their best player last year (20 pts & 10 boards regularly). She'll be their best for the rest of her career.

Trenton qualified for the regional tournament starting two eighth graders and sixth man being an eighth grader....tremendous potential & could be very good in about two years time at varsity level.

Rugby just won District 11 and one of the reasons they won was because they have two 8th grade starters that are really maturing. Taylor Wangerin is over 6ft tall and is a force inside and out. Shea Heidlebaugh plays with poise beyond her years. These two will help cement Rugby as a viable contender for years to come.
