If Carrington gets healthy, I will predict they win a close one. If Thompson and Rosenau aren't ready to go, it could be a long night for the Cards.

Thompson won't play much if any... Sierra just sprained her ankle tonight in warm ups but she's tough and tried to play threw it

I think if Carrington is going lose a game...this is the one. I'm going to say Central Cass 48 Carrington 39.

This was a pretty good game...Lead changes throughout...Breske was impressive. I believe the largest lead of the game was the final score as Carrington was forced to foul after a near miss on a three to tie the game with 50 seconds left. The last minute of the game was pretty ugly both ways.

Carrington had a tough time matching up with Breske and Dixon. Would love to see a rematch with both teams at full strength.

We'll have a new #1 on Monday!

Carrington mostly trailed throughout the game. The most likely difference wasn't injuries (Thompson scored 13 with 9 rebounds and 4 assists). It was the 18 turnovers committed by Carrington to 9 by Central Cass. If they play again it will be on a neutral court, not Carrington High School.

Curious...Were you AT the game? The turnovers were definately the difference but Carrington was not at full strength in any way, shape or form. Thompson had a decent game but saw limited action as she couldn't play more than a few minutes a stretch due to conditioning. Rosenau was not 80%.

Not making any excuses for Carrington as injuries are part of the game and Casselton is good. I don't care if they play a rematch on the moon but would like to see two healthy teams in a rematch.

Casselton is a great team and deserved to win tonight as they outplayed the Cardinals. The difference: Turnovers and Breske.

I agree Thompson did not look 100%... very tired and out of shape.

It was a fun game - it's always good to play good competition. I'm glad that CC has added teams like Carrington to the schedule. They have both Linton and Grafton coming up too. I will take those games over blow-outs any day!

CC and Grafton should be a great game. (and Linton too) There are some very good, well matched teams in the State this year. I think most of the top 10 ranked teams could beat each other on any given night. Gonna be all about who puts it together in March...Strength of schedule is only gonna benefit you at tournament time.

A little more scoring in the actual game.
