Heimer cherry picks his topics and his facts, and this website is a very questionable use of a grown man's time, but he's great at satire.

The Mandan thing has to do with a player that left junior hockey in Alexandria and joined Bismarck at the midway point of last season.

The player involved was from Mandan, but eligibility rules specified he would not be able to rejoin that team, even though his parents lived there.

So, they did a quickie move to Bismarck so he could join that team.

He was a big factor in Bismarck's state title.

No one noticed because it's hockey. Had it been B basketball, there would have been action by the legislature, unless it was Linton.

Working on a new poll right now. Waiting on some staff to get their ballots in.

New chat hopefully soon.

I think I get all the teams in the poll except Cavalier? Don't understand that one.

Cavalier goes to state a lot. They may be small, but it feels like only Grafton can compete with them in their region.

7 of the last ten teams from Region 2 to go to state have been Cavalier or Grafton. Cavalier still has more with 4 appearances over Grafton's 3. Mayport-CG and North Border have spaced them out though.
