18th Annual Linton Spring Spectacular

Postby baller01 » Wed Mar 19, 2008 6:41 pm

On April 12th, Linton will be hosting their 18th annual Linton Spring Spectacular. This is open to two different age divisions. The JH divisions consists of players in grades 7-9 while the Varsity division consists of players in grades 10-12. Each division is made up of 8 teams with the participating players being placed on each team based on ability. Players will either rank themselves or have their coaches rank them on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the best, to allow for even teams. Each team is guarenteed 3 games. The cost is only $15 dollars. Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place will be given along with t-shirts. Games start on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the championship concluding the tournament at 5:45 p.m. Anyone interested should either private message me with their name, grade, and school or call Dan Carr at 254-4717 so participants can get the proper registration forum.

Thanks for posting the teams.

Have you had the draft for the 7-9 graders?

If so... would you mind posting them?

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks to all the volunteers who put on this great tournament! Looked like everybody had a great time and seen alot of new talent. We did'nt get to see many of the upperclassmens games but saw some good young talent in the 7-9 division.

Players that really shined:
Tanner Puritan from Linton
Levi Tomlinson from Max
Chance Kurle from South Border.
Blonde haired kid on the white team (sorry I cant remember your name)

These are going to players to watch in the next few years!

The best kid I saw there in the 7th to 9th division was a kid from Ellendale on the blue team that won it.
We plan and God laughs.
