Have the candidates for Mr. Basketball been announced yet? If not - when are they selected?

Austin D is the best player no one got to watch. Best scoring threat May. Luke is really tough. If you saw them walk down the street May doesn't fit the bill as a basketball player. All nice young men, they are my top 3.

Jordan May was the best player in the tournament. This became obvious when both Bismarck and Minot had him in a Box and 1. I have not seen that done at all this year to any other player. Oh, he dropped 37 too. He has the best crossover of anyone playing and his skills are unmatched. He has one of the quickest releases in the state and he is unstoppable offensively. He also makes amazing passes.

Mr. Basketball is Austin Dufault against Jordan May.

I'm not sure what you are saying no way to. A person could argue that Malm is as good as Martinez. I'm not going to argue either, because Mr. Basketball is Dufault or May. Dufault is going D-1, and May was the best player at the state tournament, after a season where he led Class A in scoring.

malm isnt even close to Martinez
he is good, but he doesnt have that take over the game mentality that martinez had

after watchin martinez at the state tourney i was amazed. he put up 20+ every game (correct me if i'm wrong) and his team won the ship. i've never seen dufault play before but i think it'll b down to these 2.

Martinez is a great player. I still have to think Dufault and May are better, but I don't think there will be many complaints on the winner, whoever it may be. I personally think May is the best player in Class A, Dufault the best in Class B, but Luke did win state and average 20 a game. 42 and 16 is hard to top, and 37 against Dickinson is pretty hard to top also, but can you top winning a state championship?

i guess the Martinez votes are no more and now its how he got robbed....which i can see. i think he deserved to be a finalist but its tough to top that list. didnt last year have 7 finalists? (Qvale, Kick, Belohvek, Wilhelm, Bakkum, Lorenz, Ironheart)? why only 5 this year?

It's an outrage...Class B has more candidates than Class A...

I don't know what you mean by that, because Austin Dufault has been THE KILLDEER COWBOYS for the past 4 years. If he hadn't been around we wouldn't even care about their team.
