Watford has had a good run been ranked # 1 since the second week. TLM hasn't lost since their first game. Five total teams with only one loss..If these teams can hang on this could be one of the most competive state tourney's no real clear cut favorite. Should be an interesting couple of weeks with all the solid regions out there..Anybody has a chance to go.

Munich-Starkweather and New Rockford, both recieving votes, met up tonight and the Magic Storm won by 18, 68-50. That puts MS to 16-3 and New Rockford to 15-4 coming into tournament time. HUGE win for the Magic Storm. Congrats on a great regular season boys.

So Leeds-Minn beat NR by more than 10, and St. John when they were rated, and Munich Stark by more than ten.....Fact is, its all opinion. Top 5 teams lose, but remain in the top 5 because why? Its a media opinion. The real truth for all districts/regions is about to unfold. Forget about polls.

There's no way Dakota Prairie is #10... M-S beat them by quite a bit in the Ramsey County Tournament to take 1st.

That's still 5 out of the 8 spots at the state tournament. Upsets will happen, and sports would be boring without them. Sports aren't supposed to be completely predictable.

Thank you..I did not know that!! However the question was: Do you think at least five of the 16 teams will make it???

I think it will be tough this year because there are a lot of districts missing from this poll.

I feel you are right. Like last year Region 7 had four teams ranked or recieving votes and only 1 can make it. It should be interesting!!

one of my favorite rites of Feb is to cut out the final poll and start crossing off teams.

I think that Dunseith(16-3) Should be at least in the top ten and bishop ryan should'nt be that far up because dunseith was the only team that beat them when they were number 1..but oh wells these polls dont mean nothing..we''ll just have to wait and see who comes out on top during tournament time

Well, if they lose the play in game, they'll tie Hankinson's record of 0-20 that we managed to get back when I was a freshman...
