NRS has been playing well. I'll take them by 12.

I wouldn't be so sure. I've watched Munich play and Riley Beck and Richard Wright are just as good as anybody NRS has.

I have an opinion and so do you. I think NR will win.

I will go with the homer pick and take MS by 7. I won't be surprised by either result.

Riley Beck will get to the rim all night on NR. I don't think anybody on NR's team can match up with him physically and athletically. I'm going to take M-S, 66-54.

Good call Mr. Knowitall. You were pretty close. I think this is a HUGE win for the Magic Storm. I have heard that New Rockford is a good contender in the region so this is a big win for MS, especially after their loss to Rolla-Rocklake last Thursday.

Tournament time...my favorite time of the year!

I was at that game and it was the worst reffing i have ever seen!! they were from rollette wolford or rolla rock lake or somethin like that... it was bad for both sides too.. NR ended up with like more then 30 fouls and Munich shot great from the free throw line.. plus that court is a little bit smaller then a normal one so it favored munich.. but yess it was a great win for the magic storm!!

I also heard that the refs were pretty crappy for both teams. I am kinda surprised with the margin but I doubt it will be that much if a rematch happens in DL. Good win for SM after the Rolla loss.

With that win it seems only St. Johns is standing in Munich's way to go state.

Are you serious?? St John should be more worried of getting out of that tough district than making it to state.

They beat St. John and lost to Rolla. Logic says Rolla would be the team that would give them trouble. That being said, there will probable be some upsets in the district tourney's but some teams to watch would be NR, FW, ML, and SM. Langdon also could cause some noise.

Realistically the only team that could pose a legitimate threat to M-S for the region championship is M-L. Everyone else is not talented enough or just dosen't possess the experience. And St. John doesn't really seem like a region contender to me, heck I think Langdon has a better chance to make it to state than SJ.

Refs Cant call a 18 point Favor to M/S refs just do there job an looks like if they called a lot of fouls must have been some lazy defence on NR for having to hack all day good calling refs an congrats to M/S

I would have to agree on the St. John situation. I don't think they pose a threat to keep MS from STATE. Sure...the top 5-6 seeds in dist. 8 pose a threat to each other...but St. John isn't keeping MS from state. I would agree that ML might. And we can NEVER count out 4-Winds. Langdon is always an option, too. It could really go any direction at this point. All I know is whoever is going to state from this region better come ready to play EVERY game. If you let it slip once, that could be it for you. Tournament time, here we come.

yea the refs were pretty pathetic that game for both teams but with the whistles blowing all the time it slowed the game down and that fell into the hands of m/s and nr is a fast pace team soo they'll play again in the region tournament and well i expect a lot different out come than that 68 to 50 score

closed - let's keep the ref bashing to a minimum.

if you don't like it - go get a whistle and fix it.
