Bowman County vs. Trinity: Part Deux

Postby project-pat » Tue Feb 05, 2008 5:32 pm

These 2 teams face off on Valentine's day...at the KOCAC...first matchup was during the roughrider, with the Bulldogs edging a TRIPLE OVERTIME victory...Wolf dominated down low, and Morey was held scoreless in the 2nd half...both teams are evenly matched, but the Titans will be looking to get some revenge after being beat on their home floor in such a close game...I got bowman by 3 in a single OT.

PREDICTIONS???

I'm going to take DT by 10. Could we be seeing a shootout between Boos and Morey?

Will the real Trinity Titans please stand up.......All depends on what team shows up...Some nights they show they can compete with the motts and hazens.....the next night they prove that they belong with the lower tier teams...The problem the Titans will have at the regionals (if they get there) will be putting three good games together. They haven't done that all season.

Trinity handled bowman pretty easily tonight...morey was a freak...congrats to them, they are showing that they are a state tournament berth caliber team...Wolf wasn't in action tonight though, been sick all week...

The game between Trinity and Bowman was a letdown, not because the game was decided by half, but I was hoping for a tournament type atmosphere. Bowman had a very poor crowd and overall the crowd never got into it....Both teams looked average at best. Bowman couldn't put a run together to get back into it and Trinity lacked the killer instinct to put the dogs away for good.. JV game wasn't competitive with the Titans blowing them out and the Trinity freshman won by 15....

it's because it wasn't a girls game...bowman's girls are the pride of the town...and right when I started to get into it, I had expletives spit at me by some guy...they didn't allow me to cheer...

It's sad the way we human beings flock to the winner and ignore the "other" team even though they are very competitive....It's the same at every school...
