Region champs from same school? last time it happened?

I guess I don't even know if it has happened at all? Anybody know when the same school represented their region in boys bb and girls bb? :?:

i'm guessing trinity is probably the most recent?

with the boys making it a bunch of years in a row, i'm sure the girls played at state at least one of those years?

May Port CG did back in 2002 with the girls taking third I believe and the boys winning it all. Both teams were coached by Dave Nelson too.

I also think Bottineau might've done that too in 2005 when the boys took second, I can't remember for sure though.

I don't believe Trinity girls ever made it out of that region.....I do remember MPCG vaguely.....I think linton did it when Carr's kid was in school not????? I thought when Bottineau boys were good the girls got upset in regionals by Mohal-Lansford-Sherwood....seems to me I saw an interview durings girls state tourney with a bottineau boy's player and they talked about being upset in regionals.....

I know its not recent but Bishop Ryan did in '93-'94. Both boys and girls teams Won the state tournament that year and had the same coach (Greg Limke, now at West Fargo). I believe he is the only one to have ever accomplished this.

I know Trinity did it two years ago. Every sport they offered went to state that year and they won the title in boys basketball, boys track and football. I think Bottineau pulled it off either last year or the year before as well.

Linton's Boys and Girls team did it two years in a row.

2004- Boys: 3rd in state... Girls: 2nd in state
2003- Boys: 5th in state... Girls: 4th in state

Trinity would win the state title in everything, jeez....2006 was a good year for them woof...I don't think we'll see anything like that in a long time, except for the Bowman County class of 2009 of course haha
