Gotta disagree with you here. Central Cass already beat Richland once. They will be in there.

Central Cass has been playing better than I expected, they have a good club. I watched them once and I like the way their new coach has them playing, more balanced than they've been in the past. I just think that come the end of the year Hankinson, Lisbon, Richland, North Sargeant, maybe FSHP will be at the top of the region. Who knows though, at this time last year not many people thought Oak Grove would have been a missed last second floater from going to state. There will be alot of good games in Region 1 over the next month and a half.

Strausberg should be over linton, and probably steele too. I dont knwo if bcn will make it to regions, and if they do they will lose first round.

Right now I think I would agree with you spalding. ML drops after their loss to Northstar and FW drops after losing to NR. Langdon has been playing well right now, but I think MS is on top at this moment. We'll see how they do against a tought NB team.

Yeah i think that's a little too generous to Park River. Sure they wont their holiday tournament but there wasn't much for competition in that tournament. They just got beat by a young Cavalier team on Monday. I'd go

North Border
Dakota Prairie
Grafton
Hillsboro

Grafton and Dakota Prairie are interchangeable because they both have a couple losses and will be a great match up if they meet in the post season. I put DP ahead because I believe they have more talent on their team.

My rankings as of now would be:

4. Langdon

ML will rebound and won't lose to Langdon. FW still is capable of beating anybody so I keep them top 3.

i think it might go something like this
1.st. john (undefeated)
2.FW (young, but can still play hard. they proved that against DP)
3.MS (they've been doing well after the break, with the Ramsey Tourney)
4.ML(They have a lack of bench, but they're still capable of anything)

Tell me if you disagree and why

I don't know how you can't put MS at the top. They've beat FW already and are just coming off a LR tourney championship with a win over DP. ML has to be up there becuase they're the only team that has beat MS. They have a tough 4 pt loss against Grafton and then a 6 pt loss to Northstar, which hurts them right now bet helps them in the long run. I would have put FW up at #2 right now if they beat NRS last week. They have losses to MS and also Standing Rock (who ML beat). In my opinion, these 3 are the top teams in Region 4 right now. Basically all three are equal. After that I would rank St John #4 maybe because they are undefeated but haven't beat anyone all that tough yet. Langdon next because they're playing good now, but they've had an easy schedule lately, too. That 30pt loss to Hazen is a bad one. Then I'd put NRS at #6 because of their win against FW last week. The last three are all basically equal, too, but a step below the top 3 in my opinion.

St. John is by far the not the best team in the region. FW is in the top four without a doubt, they simply have the talent to beat anyone in the state. I think as of right now M-S and M-L are the top two teams in the region, they have the experience and talent. I think you could also put NR in the top four too, they are playing some really tough ball right now.

1. M-S
2. M-L
3. NR
4. FW

I could see putting St. John there based on records, but I don't think if they would play any of the other 3 tomorrow that they would win. I think they will end up with at least 2 maybe 3 district losses.
