DAY 1 SCORES
FSHP 60
MV 53

BCN 58
LMM 55

Enderlin 39
GCC 29

NCass 77
Milnor 51

GM 1 FSHP led throughout most of the game-Maple Valley took a lead with just under 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter at 53-52 and then FSHP finished the game on an 8-0 run.
GM 2 BCN and LMM went back and forth the entire game. Costly mistakes and turnovers ended LMMs run at a mild upset. Bartlett scored 29 points for BCN.
GM3 Low scoring game between the two teams but Enderlin seemed to always have an answer to GCC.
GM4 Northern Cass dominated this game from start to finish.

FSHP vs Bcn should be a good game to see what team is making strides to improve. When they met in first game of year it was close for 3qt.before FSHP took over and won big.

i'm going to go with Northern Cass over Enderlin. it didn't seem like Enderlin had any scorers.

Fshp beat BCN 66-54 led by Dillan Ostrom who had a triple double, 16 points 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Anybody got the results of Enderlin's game?

Northern Cass beat Enderlin by 3. Some kid hit a three pointer with a few seconds left. That's what I heard on the radio anyway.

I just want to comment on the FSHP-BCN game a little bit- I feel that BCN really proved not only to themselves tonight but to others as well that they are a legit contender once again this year. This game was back and forth most of the game until FSHP went on a run to end the third quarter. BCN could not answer and FSHP sustained a 6 or 7 point lead throughout much of the 4th quarter. I am extremely proud of this very young BCN team-and I just want to say to everyone to watch out for this team come tourney time. They may not be a state tournament caliber team like last year but I think they are going to surprise a few teams at the end of the year!! Good luck to FSHP tonight in the championship game!

Agreed. You know the field is weak when the first game of the tournament between the 1 and 8 seeds was so close. In all reality, there may only be two or three teams from the tournament that make it to their Regional tournaments. Not the fault of the tournament committee, they don't necessarily choose the best teams, there is pretty much a set lineup. The truth is, Class B basketball is having a down year. Go off on me all you want and tell me different, but compare the strength of the average Class B team this year with that of a team 5 or 10 years ago. I think if you played Northern Cass (the champion team) against any championship team from more than two or three years ago, it wouldn't be a close game. Let's face it, we'll always have the great athletes from the Class B schools, but the talent field in the small schools is diminishing. I don't think the Barnes County Tournament will ever be the "elite" tournament that it used to be.

I agree... Northern Cass wins it and they are getting killed by teams.
