I heard Thompson beat Cavalier by 18 or 19 points earlier this year...and my bad about H-N. I wasn't aware they got beat by Cavalier already.

Cavalier does have some quality wins this season but there isn't much "playoff experience" on this team. The bulk of their team is Freshmen/Sophomores who find out soon enough how much different games are during Districts and Regionals. This will be a great experience for these kids to have to build on for next year. I'm not ruling out a victory for Cavalier in Regionals, but they are likely going to play Dakota Prairie or Hillsboro in the first round. Those match-ups aren't in the Tornadoes favor, although they will be used to playing in the Grafton gym by that time.
That's a lovely fur you're wearing. Perhaps I could find you some slippers made from the skins of innocent and defenseless baby seals!

Most of the mud has become clear in District 3. DP & Thompson decide #1 and #2 tonight. Beyond that:

#3 - HN, 8-6 in points
#4 - Hillsboro, 7-7 points (tie with Larimore, Hillsboro won head to head)
#5 - Larimore, 7-7 points
#6 - MPCG, 6-8 points
#7 - GCC, 4-10 points
#8 - CV, 0-14 points

This is based on adding the last couple night's results to the standings on the KMAV website. I hope I got this right, correct me if I'm wrong.

Dakota Prairie beat Thompson tonight in that game. Dakota Prairie jumped out to a huge lead and let it slip and was a 2 point game at halftime. The game went back and forth until the 4th and final quarter when DP came away with it. Was a great game.

1. Dakota Prairie
8. Central Valley

4. Hillsboro
5. Larimore

3. Hatton-Northwood
6. May-Port CG

2. Thompson
7. Griggs Co. Central
