I love watching the whole tournament and will be in attendance.  Please provide a little feedback about some top players from the 8 teams.

I've heard the names Packineau twins, Tony Ironheart, Mauch, etc. thrown around, Lets get a little feedback on these top players (starters) from the State qualifiers!

North Border's starting 5 is worth keeping your eye on.  One of two teams in the state tournament to have the starting 5 average 10 points per game on the season. (Four Winds - 6 players)  Jordan Rising from Dickinson Trinity is fun to watch as well, he had a good tournament last year and played well in the championship game against MPCG.  Rudy Youngbird from Parshall is also a player that I'll be keeping an eye on.  He's been talked about on this site a bit and some people seem to think that he is overrated.  Well now is the perfect time of year to find out.

I like that Dwyer kid from Shiloh.  He's only a Sophmore, but he's a pretty heady kid being a coaches son.

Mauch can throw it down and will if he gets a chance on a break.

north border always has different guys step up which is a good thing but don't have a go to guy or one floor leader. smith is scary but two out of every three games he won't score more than five or six.

Mike Smith and Mike Mathison from north border can both throw it down

Smith has a little more flare on his dunks because he can really leap

his jumping ability also gives him really good shot blocking ability

Listen, it dont matter who the packs play against they are going to put on a show and they will combine for 50 to 60 points in every game. Along with youngbirds 20, i dont care if lorenz was guarding either of them, they will score as much as they want. So look for them to have a good tournament.

Ironheart will tear him up because great offense beats great defense anyday.

Team defense can beat u but ur telling me that if your great on offense a great defensive player will stop you. Not a chance

I'm not saying that Tony Ironheart won't be able to score on Keithley because I don't think Keithley is as great on defense as Tony is on offense.  Trinity is going to have to hope that they have great team defense against FW because if this game is in the 60s FW will win it.
