Well, since 5 of the region champions I picked lost in the first round of regionals I better start some new picks with the remaining 32.

Reg 1 - Kindred vs Hankinson (Hankinson wins)

Reg 2 - MPCG vs NB (MPCG wins)

Reg 3 - Lamoure vs Napolean (Lamoure wins)

Reg 4 - Leeds/Mwkn vs FW (LM wins)

Reg 5 - Standing Rock vs Oyate (Oyate wins)

Reg 6 - Dunseith vs DLB (Dunseith wins)

Reg 7 - Hazen vs MR (Hazen wins)

Reg 8 - Parshall vs WC (WC wins)

I would have to agree...Wells Co. has been playin some pretty good ball even though they have a few times where they are off.  I would have to say they gave FW a run for the money last time and I think that WC against LM is going to be a tough match and I don't think that I can even choose a winner right now...

Day 2 of Region 3 has begun and yesterday I had a few wrong in my first round predictions... Tonight's matchups should be two great basketball games. I pick Linton to defeat Lamoure in overtime and then BCN defeating Napoleon going away in the fourth quarter. Yesterday Beau Sizer was my MVP for Region 3 player of the year. He had a very quiet 36 points and 15 rebounds in BCN's opening round win against S-Z. In Thursdays championship game BCN will defeat Linton and represent Region 3 in next week's Class B basketball tournament in Bismarck. Many may not agree with that but right now BCN is one of the hottest teams in the state and they are playing great ball when it counts. Usually Region 3 has been the Linton Invitational for many years. But this year the slipper will fit for BCN and they will be this years Region 3 representative in Bismarck next week. This team is HOT right now.

I agree with you both 100%!  Tonight semifinal game between ML and WC is going to be a great game.  I was at the first game between them and ML had a big lead but WC cut it down and made it a close game at the end.  I'm picking ML 60% to WC 40% so that's how close I think it's going to be.

Since a lot of my favorites were upset last night - I will also have to revamp my picks for the final 16.
