If  Jamie Mauch is not 100%, he must be very close to it!  He is very very quick, must have hit 3/3 three point shots, made several steals, blocked shots, etc.  (I haven't seen the final stats for the game). There is something very smooth and classy about the way he plays basketball.  I hope the Pirates make it to State so more people can enjoy watching Jamie Mauch.

Going have to disagree with you phil, yes he had a good game, but he just feeds of what mauch does. Mauch is a gifted player who makes his whole team better. I bet with no mauch lisbon wins by 10 and hanson only gets 10. Not taking anything away from hanson he is good but the reason he looked like the star was because of Mauch.

8 point loss, got out rebounded by 12, that was the difference in the game.

You are not disagreeing with me, ndman!  I think Jamie Mauch is the best high school player I have ever seen (see my previous post in this discussion) - he does it all, blocks shots, steals, assists, and shoots.  Plus he moves like no one else.  Brady just had a very good game yesterday, that is all.

Lisbon's Patrick Dourghty their point did not have a good game against hankinson.  He was about 0-6 or so on three point attempts.  I'm listening to the game between Lisbon and Oak Grove now and he has hit 4-5.

i dont know if im the only one but i find it pretty impressive that all 3 teams that came out of district 2 as the runner up r still in there.  having 3 teams achieving second in a district tourney is impressive all in its own hahaha. what r the actual seedings

For the past 2 years Lisbon has had a team with enough talent to make it to state.  The only thing missing is a decent coach.  Last years team had more talent on it than this years even and none of the players respected the coach cause he didn't know how to coach them and he was a dude to all of the players.  Next year Lisbon should be decent again but with the same coach i don't see them going any farther then they did this year.

Sounds like you've had some first hand experience.  I've heard rumblings over the years about dissatisfaction with the coach.  Too bad it's the kids that suffer.  There are probably some that could have made names for themselves in a different situation.
