I got Mott/Regent, South Heart, Bowman, and Hettinger making it to regionals out of this district. I think Beach could be a contender also.

I think Bowman could come out on top if they play there best ball, they have been up and down all season, they could also take 4th or not even make it.

i would have to say bowman or mott/regent for my favorites to win the district 13 tourney. mott-regent is good all around and can have a good game from any one of there starters. if bowman wants to win they need burke to have some big games and jordan maher and alex wolf to dominate in the post. I really dont think south heart will have a chance to win it, i could be wrong though.

im gonna pick bowman hands down. burke will lead the team. mott regent is also a favorite, but i think bowman can handle them, and i really dont see south heart taking it.

What about Hettinger?  Does anyone think they have a chance to come through the bracket and win this thing?  They were ahead of both Bowman and Mott/Regent the first time the played, in the 4th quarter.  Can they finish the job this time?

They just beat the #1 team South Heart by 12, something Bowman or Mott-Regent didn't do.

Ya but Hettinger also lost to a Harding County team after leading by 20 going into the 4th and bowman beat harding county by about 50. So if you are gonna look at past games and point margins i think you should take that into consideration

That's true but it was December and two nights later they lost to Trinity by 4.

I'm looking at what happened recently.  In the last three weeks, South Heart beat Bowman and Mott-Regent, but lost to Hettinger.  District 13 will be just as tight as Dist. 14 but maybe not quite the caliber.  I do think Hettinger has a great shot at taking the title though.  We'll see by next Tuesday.

What does everyone think about Beach beating South Heart?  What are the predictions for the championship game?

South heart is overrated and shoulda stayed in district 14. I got Beach by 6 in the championship.

I got Hettinger and Belfield filling in the 3 and 4 spots.

South Heart will beat belfield and Hettinger will beat Bowman because i hear some of their starters are out.  Mott/regent will win the championship in a close game.

Does Bowman have a deep bench?  Who will start in their place?

well I'm sure matt bagely will move to the 3 spot. So I'm thinking Jake Mason(sophmore 1 guard) Tyson harding(soph 2,3,4 spot) or james mckintrick (senior guard)

Their bench  does not have much varsity experience this year because they usually just go with two off the bench and i heard ryley biggs a junior is starting

You know, some of these coaches should play their bench a little more.  The Varsity experience only gives them a little confidence in themselves and sometimes that helps much in a situation like Bowman tonight.  Look at Trinity, they develop a program and continue year after year.  Small schools develop a team and start from scratch year after year.  You gotta play ball to get good at playing upper levels.
