I totally agree. LaMoure, Steele, and Linton are all a top region 3. My guess is one of those 3 are the team that comes out of that region.

LaMoure played very well tonight. They executed, got good looks, played good defense, and just flat out out played Linton. Linton was in foul trouble the whole game as was Shockman from LaMoure. LaMoure shot 26-28 free throws on the night and out rebounded the Lions by 10 or so. LaMoure shot just under 50% for the night while Linton shot about 30%. Including 3-19 from the 3 point line (that is about 16% for all you non-math people).

Is Watford City this coming weeks new #1 with the thumping of Hazen (who I thought was the best team in the state) and of Dickinson Trinity (who was top 5 IMO)?

No they will actually probably drop a little after losing to Parshall by 1 on tuesay....but what a couple games they have put together here!

3-19 is really bad, not usual for a Linton team.

Its sad to say, but hankinson will drop.  In 2001 North Border was Undfeated #1 in the state and lost to Red Lake the #2 in the state in Minnesota and dropped 2 or 3 spotts.  Might not be fair but when have these polls this year.  If you go look who is on the committee for this poll you will find out why people are put where they are....

i dont know if its true but someone on here said hankison lost to a team that was have a down year.

Its pretty wierd how Hankinson beat Battle Lake by 15 at the Fargo Shootout and then a month later Battle Lake beat Hillcrest by 9 at Hillcrest, then one day later Hillcrest beats a very good Hankinson team by 7 on a neutral floor
