That Region 1 tourney might be better than the state tourney. I could see them getting 3 teams into state.

No.

There might be 3 teams from District 8 alone going to State.

I can see Region 4 having three teams but don’t think they will all come from District 8.

BR and W/N I'd say are the favorites in Region 4. ORCS is my sneaky prediction. They are deep and athletic. Perhaps the deepest team in District 8. I haven't seen Williston or Alexander play, in all fairness to them.

I agree with BR and W/N being favorites. Williston and Alexander are strong teams as well. It should be a good regional tournament for sure!

G4 - (14-8) D3#2 Midway-Minto vs D4#3 New Rockford-Sheyenne (11-11)

Would not be surprised to see a D3 sweep today. Also, if North Star wins the region like I expect them to, my prediction is R1 would advance 3 teams to state.

D3 almost got it. Outside of North Star R2 doesn't have a team state tournament caliber team IMO.

They will in fact all come from district 8.

Yep, I was just coming to the forum to say this. I’m surprised at how the games with WTC and Alexander turned out. Congrats to the teams of D8!

15 dollars a day or 30 dollars for the regional tournament seems a bit excessive to be able to watch online.

EXTREMELY!
$14.99 or $29.99 is ridiculous for each day/event...and they only charged for the postseason. Could have done a monthly option and included regular season games and actually gotten more people interested in it then springing these high charges for one day or one postseason event.

Somehow, Your Live Event is able to do 2 full regional tournaments and the State Play-In day plus most of the EDC tournament as well for no cost to the customer.

How much does the NDHSAA charge folks to broadcast these postseason events?

I paid $30 and I will get to watch the 8 games. Much cheaper than me actually driving to Four Bears and able to watch from the comfort of my own home.

Happy to support after watching games for free all year.

I guess I would have been happy to pay a monthly subscription all year as opposed to 30 dollars for 8 games.

I do not hate that take. When it is all said and done I will pay PSP $60 or $90. I think I pay that to NFHS every year and then some.

It just stinks how abrupt the decision was made (days before the first tournaments). I agree with Schwab...I would have paid a monthly rate for yearly content, I'm really using them more for score retrieval anyways. I don't watch a lot of full games from out West.

Congrats to the Westhope-Newburg Sioux for winning region 4 and knocking Minot Ryan out of the playoffs!
