The Hoopster is absolutely sleeping on FWM. Just have to go out and show ND what we got.

Very interested to see FW-M play on the 15th of December. That game could be very high scoring!

Looks pretty accurate to me. I got Langdon and Dunseith for the championship

Seems surprising to see that Hoopster has Thompson ranked ahead of HCV in Region 2.

The Schwabe injury may shift it back but Thompson lost less then HCV did from last year to this year...so nope not shocked here at all

We get it...you don’t like the private schools but come on they aren’t ‘Class A’ either (10:1 ratio in most cases). Note: Private schools have 4 titles in 20 years (only 1 in this decade).

You want them out of Class B then someone get a 3-class system proposed and passed. The problem is that even if it passes there will still be people NOT satisfied.

I never said I don't like Private Schools. I think they are great. But I don't like the fact that nobody that attends these schools will admit that they have an advantage pulling in players. That is the only problem I have. JUST ADMIT IT! And yes 4 titles in 20 years is quite a bit. There are many class B schools that have never made the Class B State tournament. That is the best part of Class B. The working class small town working as a community and when the town makes it.... the whole town can celebrate.

Rankings are mostly fluff this time of year. 10 weeks from now we can talk about who is who. Freshmen and Soph kids show up and make big changes to these teams. Cheering for Powers Lake to make it State this year.... GO Ranchers! I really don't think they have ever made it before.

I’m also a supporter of seeing a 3-class system but it has to be feasible and logical

a recent news article stated that 28-30% of Northern Cass' students are open-enrolled from other districts. Has elements of the public v. private school argument.

Northern Cass is in the middle of no place. I am surprised more of their kids are not open enrolled.

is there evidence their kids don't open enroll to other districts?

I expect that most open-enrollees come from Fargo (North) or West Fargo districts. There may be a few that open-enroll out to adjacent districts but it's likely minimal. Nice school.

my thinking is a lot of the parents in the NC district work in Fargo. For some of these families it has to be easier to send your kid to North.
