This could be an exciting tournament with a few possible upsets.

North Star vs Benson County
Harvey-WC vs Dunseith
Four Winds-M vs Rolla
St. John vs Dakota Prairie

Any other thoughts on what I think is the best region tourney venue in the state. Two new comers DP and Dunseith make regionals first year joining and bringing some new competition into the Region. Is Four Winds more of a favorite this year than last year?

I would say they are a much bigger favorite this year compared to last.

North Star vs Benson County NS pulls away a few times but BC fights back and keeps it close until NS pulls away at the end. NS by 12.

Harvey-WC vs Dunseith If Dunseith gets hot they can win by 25. I'll say they win by less than 10.

Four Winds-Mvs Rolla If Rolla can establish Schoening down low and Cahill and other shooters can hit outside shots they can keep it close. FWM by 20.

St. John vs Dakota Prairie SJ by 5. SJ by more if their three pointers are dropping.

In the opener, NS over Benson Cty 66-46

2nd game at the half: HWC 24 Dunseith 22

Tonights games could both be good, and I stress could. NS and H/WC could be one of the best games in the state tonight. Player earlier in Fessenden and H/WC won by 3. The Hornets shot about 60% from the field that day. And they match up very well against NS. If NS wants to win this game they will have to have some kids step up that have been settling for passing the ball instead of shots.
The second game will be a little more of a run and gun game. If St. John can come out and hit some shots they could force 4W to do the same. But the only way that St. John has a chance they will have to play much better defense than they have been.
I will take NS by 5-10 and 4W by 15-20.
