Coaching Changes 2014-2015

Postby The Schwab » Wed Mar 26, 2014 2:17 pm

Post any coaching changes that will be happening.

1 that I know of is Ben Nelson from Milnor to Hazen- this move has been discussed, topic has been deleted, no more discussion needs to be made on it.

Feel free to post other coaching changes.

GF Herald today has Randy Loing, Rolla giving up his coaching duties, retaining his AD duties, that is too bad, I thought Randy did a nice job by the end of the year with a young Rolla team.

Read that too, Randy is a very good coach.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

Whats the catch here...? Central Cass seems like a very good coaching opportunity...One of the teams to beat down there...always seem to be competitive and great location

Central Cass is always competitive in Region 1 (even this year as the 7-seed in a tough District). Their JV was pretty good last year; JH programs have talent in them from what I remember seeing last year. I would think CC would continue this trend.

Couldn't even tell you who their old coach is, but Larimore is looking for a new coach.

Jim has had a great career over 580 wins in 50 years in coaching, he's number two in the Hoopster in active coaches.

Thought I heard North Border coach Cooter Symington during an interview this past winter saying it was his last year. Is that true?

Interesting hire. Randy will do a very good job for CC, his players will learn the game and take away great life lessons, he's a top-notch guy.
