I'm taking Milnor 89 to 80. I feel like If Milnor doesn't' play sloppy there is no way they lose.

If Milnor is on their game tonight, I got them winning by at least 5.

I'm actually getting excited for the championship if Enderlin who I expect to win and Milnor meet up. The bison might be in for a surprise.

After the near-loss to Central Cass last night, I think Milnor will jolt awake and come out firing. Milnor by 5.

Anybody think either team can reach 100 tonight?

It was clear during their first matchup that OG's top defenders were a lot more effective than Milnor's. Bussman and Mund looked bushed in the fourth quarter, while Kretchman appeared fresh. OG's supporting cast is a lot deeper as well. Milnor's turnovers killed them in the first matchup as well. Milnor will need people like Marlatt and Olsen to contribute when they get their looks and the whole team needs to take care of the ball. Because of all these factors, I think Oak takes this one by 7. Yes, they are volatile, but their offensive depth and stingy defense keep them as the favorite against most teams.

I won't go and make any predictions...but someone from District 1 stated last night "if you were to pick Milnor or the field...who would you pick? The Field. All because of venue".

The key for Region 1 is the venue (Fargo Civic Center)...District 1 teams rarely get to play in here during the season whereas District 2 teams play in a shootout (most) and District Tourneys. The Civic can be a tough place to adjust to but if you are used to it than there are fewer issues.

Tonight will be interesting and is much anticipated, players will be ready to go and fans will be loud. Tonight should be fun!!

I heard yesterday when talking to some oak grove fans they said when they plays Milnor last it was the best game they played all year and Milnor played really sloppy and Mund probably had of his worst games of the year no way oak grove comes out ontop tonight. Turnovers killed the bison last game an if they take a few of those off the board Milnor beats oak grove

Will be a great game but the one-two punch of Bussman and Mund from Milnor along with Yagows scoring and hustle plays, Martinson's Defense, Marlatt's scoring, Olsen's length to block shots and get boards, along with Weber's scrappiness are going to get it done this time.

Oak grove is just taking it to milnor up 53-32. Turnovers aren't helping milnor. Midway through the third quarter.

Sorry, but having played in the Civic a couple times in my career, it's one of the easiest places to adapt to in the state. It's 100% a shooter's gym. Outside of the Bismarck Civic, it's the best place to play in the state. I wish they played the boy's class A EDC games there still. The place has great rims and a great atmosphere come tourney time.

Anyone think Oakes has a shot at Oak Grove?? Oakes has a good thing going right now. They have nothing to loose so they can just go out and play basketball, like they have been doing so far. Teams like that can be scary! I predict Oak Grove wins by 10-15

I don't think they really stand a chance in this one. OG looked very strong on both defense and offense. This one could turn into a runaway very quickly.

Regardless, how crazy would people have gotten on here at the start of the season if someone had stated that Oakes would be playing in the region championship and that Milnor would not? Crazy how high school basketball works out sometimes. Oakes played an amazing game and shot the lights out in the second half. As a fan of the underdog, that game sure was fun to watch!

Boy did the Kretchmans have a good night! I saw the Davies/West Fargo game and Tanner couldn't miss either.

I have a question for you. Do you know if the Oakes kid set a Region tournament record with his 20 free throw makes?

I don't think there are such Region records...I wish there were
