it was the smoothness of his jump shot and his self containment on the court that must of shadowed this...he wasn't forced to jump from the free throw line and windmill it......he certainly didn't strike me as a Ben Weisbeck (ridiculously athletic, on the hard court) but hes a great player.....wasn't aware of the track achievements .. :)

It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

Well you have to realize that we are at different points in the season compared to last year. The 1/10/2014 numbers are more accurate since Boys Basketball is back to being late this year (Girls started first).

I think we are now down to only 2.
Ellendale 10-0
Milnor/North Sargent 9-0

This is pretty early to be down to only two.

definitely a different year...not that talent is neither up nor down but I think there is more balance there this year across the board

I agree. I think the balance will make for an exciting State Tourney this year.
