I wouldn't say Ellery had more help on both ends of the court this year. CC, as a team, struggled on defense this year. I don't believe it was because of Ellery. Defensively, MV had more to offer because they had an athletic 6'7" center who could swat balls away. CC didn't have a dominating inside presence like that this year.
Don't take me wrong about the voting process, but I believe Haseleu received votes because of a long productive career, and not just a good senior year.
Ellery had better stats in almost every category as a senior.
