I know everyone's going to get upset about this, but this 5th place game should have been the championship. It was a simply great game. Down 3, Heidlbaugh hit a 3 to tie with about 13 seconds left. Trinity called a timeout and Rugby came out in a 1-3-1. I thought this was genius as it totally screwed up Trinity. Volk got stuck with the ball and put up a 30 at the buzzer. You could say there was definitely some luck involved, but at the same time, I don't think anyone else on the floor makes that shot.

I also love how Trinity decided Volk was the only one who was gonna shoot in the last 3 minutes.

Trinity's pre-game dunk contest was very entertaining as well.

If he just makes a simple wide open layup against LLM maybe they're in the championship tonight.

Just heard that Trenton won't have its own program next year...they are co-oping with Williston Trinity Christian. Is this official?

They said that during Thursday's broadcast. It can't get more official than that.

well KVLY's announcers have said some things that have been wrong on the telecasts the past few days. Just wanted to make sure.

What a way to go out then...

Trenton 43
L-LM 42

They both had their chances to meet in the championship but the other teams made it count

Was a sarcastic response on my part, they obviously could be mistaken.

4 winds inability to move the ball on offense is killing them! One pass and then launch a three doesn't work..

I counted over 14 possessions that Four Winds wouldn't have a pass in their half court offense. Not a lot of ball movement at all.

Great Tournament Milnor - I must admit 2 weeks ago I would have picked probably 15 other teams ahead of them if I was guessing possible state champs. Heck of a job by the players and coaches this week.
