Trinity or the field?

Postby ndlionsfan » Tue Mar 05, 2013 12:35 pm

I know there's other topics about picking the state tourney finish, but let's go a little PTI here. Trinity is obviously most people's pick to win it all after beating Beulah and being the highest ranked team remaining.

Who do ya got? Trinity or the field in the State B this weekend?? (Imagine that said in Cornheiser's voice)

Me? I also believe Trinity is probably the best team, but I think there's an upset along the way and I'm taking the field.

I think that Trinity is the best team, but I would take the field, because it's the "B" and anything can happen.

Probably Trinity. 90% favorite in the quarters, 95% in the semis and 67% in the finals. If my guesses for win % are correct they're a 57% favorite to win it.

I'll carry over the same thing I said about Trinity in the Region 7 thread. I don't know if this Trinity team is mentally capable of playing 3 state tournament teams in a row without losing focus and falling to a team that they shouldve beaten. That came very close to happening against Hazen in the district tournament.

To be fair, I thought Trinity was going to win state at the beginning of the season. I would take Trinity.
