Players to watch

Postby ambition13 » Sat Mar 02, 2013 7:36 pm

Who are the players to watch at the state tourney? I'm not familiar with the western schools and want to know who to keep an I on as teams make a run at the title!

Anthony Olson From Lamoure LM. Very gifted athlete, impacts the game on both ends. Very fun to watch.

Just to name a few individuals
Donovan Lambert of Shiloh is an explosive scorer
Jacob Volk of Dickinson Trinity is an excellent all around player
Jade Benz of Trenton is a very smooth player

With almost all new teams in the state tournament we will get to see a lot of new athletes on Class b's biggest stage

from up here in the NE corner of the state

Ryan Chrest (jr) and Brock Robbins (soph).......both very athletic and basketball savvy

Cavalier play real good as a unit, but these two guys can carry a team to a victory

Region 1's Milnor Bison have two exceptional players in Wyatt Mund and Briton Bussman.
Wyatt a 6'4" forward scores 17.4 ppg pulls down 9.6 RPG and dishes out 4.6 assists per game while shooting 61% from two point range.
Briton a 6'3" g/f scores 24.7 ppg pulls down 7.6 RPG and dishes out 2.4 assists per game while shooting 57% from two and 49% from three point range.
Both are juniors. Briton passed 1000 points during the regional tournament and Wyatt has a good chance of passing that milestone at state.

After a little research...it looks like Wyatt Mund has 995 career points...

AUSTIN LONGIE IS A PRETTY GOOD BALL HANDLER AND CAN EXPLODE TO THE BUCKET RELIABLE SCORER... COLLIN DELORME REAL STRONG UNDER THE BUCKET SCORER ITS GONNA BE HARD FOR OTHER PLAYERS TO STOP HIM FROM SCORING UNDERNEATH...
