I'm guessing it will be in the same grainy format! I tried watching NBC's coverage of the Hockey Tournament last weekend, it was to say the least "painful", sorry but KVLY's play by play guy is awful. Will NDHSAA figure this out anytime soon and make a change?

The NDHSAA wont make a change because it is done on contracts/bids. NBC gets the bid every year so they get to televise state tournaments. NBC then picks the announcers/on-air people. If you want to complain about them contact your local NBC affiliate, not the NDHSAA. That being said, if NBC has not gone to HD (and I doubt they have) I probably will not watch the tourny on TV but will tune in to a radio station instead.

They have not moved into HD broadcasts for their sporting events. They do the telecasts in HD but don't have the ability to broadcast games in High Definition yet.

Next time the contract bid comes up I would hope the ndhsaa would make HD a requirement. Sporting events not in HD in this day and age is ridiculous

Of the 8 teams here, which has endured the longest "wait to state" ?? I'm guessing LaMoure...At any rate it's always nice to see a few newbe's.

LaMoure made it in 2008, placed 3rd. Milnor last made it in 2004, placed 2nd to Trinity. Cavalier made it in 2010. Shiloh was in last year. Not sure about the others.

On KXMC in Minot, they said Linton HMB defeated Lamoure in the Region 3 championship. Somewhere there was a miscommunication.
