What does everyone thing about a teams entire starting 5 being on an All District team, and on the other side of the coin do you think that every team in the district should have a representative on this team? I say this because I believe a player got slighted in my home district, 8, and some were put on the team that have no business being there.
Also what are your thoughts on a player, if healthy, would have easily being on the team, and was, but got hurt in the first 5 games of the season.

I have no problem with 5 players being all district, heck back when MPCG was good in 97-98 I believe they had 6 all-district players. I hate the idea of having someone from every team on the all district team, if you aren't a top player then you don't belong on the team. I think the biggest all-district snub was in D4 Syris Jenson didn't make the team. Multiple trible doubles, 7 or so 20 rebound games, regular season stats of 18 points 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. Hes a man in the middle, if you havent seen him play, Go to the Betty Monday.

I agree, not every team should "have" to have one on the all district team. Over the years I've seen many good players snubbed for this reason. I also don't feel that if you didn't play 3/4ths of the season that you should be on there. Yes it not cool that you got hurt, but all-district teams should be based on who helped your team out the whole year. You will find that these teams are a lot of politics and that if you didn't get voted on the team that it doesn't define the kind of player you are and how you contribute to your team. Most coaches will tell you that some of their best players have never been voted onto a team. Its kind of like the basketball polls, would you rather be voted #1 all year and then not make it to the state tournament?? Or would you rather not be voted on to your all-district team and then your team does make it to the state tournament. I think most kids will take going to state over a silly award or stupid polls any day. You have to look at the bigger picture sometimes.

By and large, hard to argue with these, however, the 2nd place team is the only one with less than 2 players on the team, not sure how that adds up. Also, as I have stated previously, Kenny Hodem from LLM should have made it.
