1. Trenton- Powers Lake (5 seniors for Trenton, Powers Lake has 2 good guards and the best player in the region in Levi Hoiby
3. New Town-have some returning players that should be ready
4. Watford City-few decent players and Tyler Bates
5. Divide County-never not show up to play, could place then #3 after a few games and always gunning for the top
6. North Shore-going off last year in regionals, just need more experience in the big games
7. Stanley-Parshall-4 seed out of 15
8. Ray-Trinity Christian(Ray has played well past few years with big surprises, Trinity has Bumgartner)

I think it will be Trenton vs. Powers Lake for the region 8 title.
I see this game a nail bitter right to the end, with Powers Lake coming out on top 67-66 in OT. The rest of the games will all be good games. Region 8 tournament should be full of good games. I think Trenton and PL have separated themselves from the rest, but on any given night there could be an upset.

The Three games on championship night were

Tioga over Stanley (Region Qualifier)
Ray over Divide County (Region Qualifier)
District Championship- Powers Lake over Trenton 60-56
