I wasn't at the game, so I don't know how they got their scoring, but even if they only scored layups, that's still better than not being able to score at all.
If a team can only score 18 against a team that doesn't play defense, what would they do against a team that DOES play defense?
The 2 8th graders that aren't good enough for varsity playing time came off the bench and almost outscored the entire opponent team by themselves. (16 to 18)
(just saw the scorebook. NS scored 18 pts on 3-pointers. Equal to M-S total output (6 2-pointers, 6 FTs)
