Go to youtube and search "Uncle Drew" you will understand after you watch it. Its really pretty funny.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

LaMoure made the kids choose between BB and wrestling this year - I guess in the past they had been allowed to participate in both - and he choose to wrestle.

Sportsrube - here is a piece of the puzzle that may help: there is more than one Shockman kid. Most of the Shockman basketball players over the years are sons of Bruce Shockman who played on the 1976 state championship team and at NDSU. His son that played basketball last year was Skyler and he did graduate last spring. Logan is a senior this year and was all-state in football (signed with Northern for next fall) and placed 2nd at 220 lbs in wrestling. He hasn't played basketball for a long time. Logan is not as tall and slender as all his brothers that played basketball.

Thanks Sleepy, I knew there were a number of Shockman's attending LaMoure over the years but wasn't aware of the specifics. I was just repeating what a LaMoure fan told me at a basketball game this year.

In LaMoure you can do both until you are a Freshman and then you have to choose. Logan probably hasn't played basketball since he was in elementary. There are a total of 6 Shockman boys in that family so its easy to get them all confused.
