I think they should have started boys practice yesterday.

I agree with you flippy! Or maybe sometime later this week but starting on the 19th and first games can be the 28th or something like that doesnt leave a lot of time.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

I wonder if it something to do with the # of kids out because on the boys side the home games are split if you don't count the Linton Shootout and outside of the Linton Shootout all the girls games are in Linton.

Run, any idea why they rarely have HS scores on valley news live?

Like who really cares who wins between NJIT and Brown?

They have had so many mistakes lately..it doesn't shock me that they don't put them up anymore.

Is there anywhere to go for scores the night of games, other than this website?

yes this is a good site^^^

There was talk early in the year with the person who runs minnesota-scores.net about doing the same for ND. But those talks quit quickly for some reason

Flip, I've thought the same thing about Valley News' scroller showing scores from college basketball, not even local scores at that. What a waste of time to even have that scrolling, it must be an auto-feed from somewhere that they just press a key and there it is.

With 2 stations in the same house they should be able to afford to put someone at a call-in desk and take scores and get them on the crawler.

Anyone know why Head Coach Thurstan Johnson left Kenmare before the 2012-13 season?

Go Maji: I suggest you head over to LRSC and watch Langstaff. He has been the Mondak player of the week twice if I read the news release right and when we watched him play several times this year he looked amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being an all-American next year if keeps the way he is going.

FYI: that is D1 Juco. Not grade 13. Last time I saw a ND kid dominate like that was Luke Martinez when he was at WSC.

Langstaff is the real deal.

Because he got a teaching job in Mohall which is where he lives. Had nothing to do with Basketball.

How many losses did Grafton have back in 2008? That's the only team I can think of that might have close to Milnor's total.

Interesting thing though is Milnor lost 4 of their first 6 games of the season...then they went 20-2 to finish the year off (the two losses were to Maple Valley both by single digits in the regular season on the road and on a neutral court).

Bisbee-Egeland in 1989 was 12-7 for the regular season - then went on a 9 game winning streak to end the year as the #1 team in the state ending at 21-7
