Carrington over BC
FWM over SJ
NS over NRS
Warwick over MS

FWM over Carrington
NS over Warwick

NS takes it all, Carrington takes 3rd. Nobody plays NS within 20 in the tournament

Take it from Winner........ Dominance like that would take more of a Complete team than NS of 12'......Remember NS (much more Depth and completeness in 10') didn't even leave the Region.

That year also had tougher teams in the region. I agree that year's Northstar team was more complete, but this year they will dominate this region.

Wc...Those are some WILD upsets you are picking! I'll go with Warick vs. North Star in one semi and Carrington vs. Four Winds in the other.

North Star vs. ? In the final...Carrington/Four Winds is too close to call as they've beat each other by 20+ for a split during the year.

North Star wins the championship by at least 10...

Carrington over Benson.
Four Winds over St. John...closer than some might think, but FW loves the Sports Center.
NS overcomes New Rockford.
Munich-Starkweather stuns Warwick...tradition, defense and size overcome my sentimental outside shot here.

FW comes to play and takes down the red hot youngsters.
NS ekes one out over a tenacious M-S team.

NS takes the final with confidence...remembering the early Ramsey County game that nearly derailed them.
Fascinating to think that this NS team has progressed as quickly and strongly as it has. I really thought at the beginning of the year, that they might need a rebuilding year before making another run as seniors next year.

Good luck to all the Region 4 teams. Make us proud.

I know! lol. im sure north star will roll through the tourney winning every game by 20+

both #2 vs #3 games will be very interesting and could go either way. should be an exciting tournament!

Munich-Starkweathers coach was on the coaches show Saturday on KNDK 1080. He said he talked with the NDHSAA and they told him Ironhawk would be out the first round game against Munich-Starkweather but would be eligible in semis if they won.

I don't understand. According to NDHSAA board minutes Ironhawk had a 6 week and 18 week outs as well as played in a senior mens game.

But what ever, NDHSAA rule what they rule. . .

Does anyone know if any of these games are on webcast or online radio?

I'm assuming that it will be on KZZY as it has in the past:

There's a 'Listen Live' link at the top of the right column

Thanks vikingman. You would think they would put some kind of banner on the web site.

Anyway, I guess this means you are not doing a webcast. Are you at least going to post the highlights on the NS website? Thanks for all you do -- it helps this old alum stay connected.

LOL . . . FW certainly has the capabilities . . . I think all teams are stepping it up, If STJ's shooting % is close to 60% FW will be in trouble otherwise I think FW will take it. Carrington is showing some "true grit" team work so I wouldn't look past them. FW vs NS: if both teams are fortunate to make it to the finals: we will see a very different game than earlier in season, good fast exciting game, may the best team prevail . . .

After some early struggles Carrington is ahead of Benson Co. by 13 with 2:30 remaining. THey will definately have to step up their game to compete in the semi's.

I figured Carrington would have a easier game playing BC. Any insight on what is going on with Carrington or is BC just playing a really good game?

Final: Carrington - 57
Benson Co. - 48

Both teams played poorly and the officiating was perhaps the worst I've ever seen both ways. Experienced officials as well. So in summary...Neither team played very well and the officials had an off day as well. Really a hard game to watch.

Every single district and regional tournament I have seen in Devils Lake has been pretty poorly officiated for the most part. Even when I played in the sports center it was bad. Must be something in the water...

St. Johns was up 10, but since Four Winds is on a 22 to 4 run! Four Winds up 47-43 in the third.
