Carrington just beat Four-Winds 62-61 in Region 4.
Carrington was down by 15 after the second I think he said. Free throw won the game!

The Maple Valley/Central Cass game was an instant classic. It was a very impressive performance from MV after getting stomped on by CC back in December. Bresnahan was phenomenal down the stretch for CC.
With the Kindred/Oak Grove game, I couldn't believe what was happening. Unless if you're Syracuse, it's pretty non-sensical to use a 2-3 zone against a 3 point shooting team. OG hit three after three and Kindred stayed in a zone usually meant for defending height and inside the paint basketball. They got some stops in the fourth with man to man defense, but Bachmeier picked up his fourth foul around the time Kindred was within either one or two. Of course, they switched to 2-3, and of course, Oak Grove hit another wide open 3. Oak Grove played a phenomenal game, but it's rather aggravating to watch a team favored in the regional semifinals employing a 2-3 zone against a team full of outside shooters. Oak Grove nailed 13 three point shots as a team.

The reason Kindred feels they have to play the 2-3 zone (IMO) is because of Plankers mobility. Don't get me wrong, Plankers is very athletic for 6'8" and 285ish lbs...but he would have worn down so much quicker if they had played man-to-man most of the game.
Also...Oak Grove has hit 25 three point shots in the past two games...roughly 25 for 52 in two games in the Fargo Civic Center (which is a tough place to shoot).
