Oakes-Hankinson is a tough team. Zetocha dropped around 30 points against West Fargo opening game. Anyone know how good he was in junior high?

Also I heard Cody Springer played for Fargo Sullivan in 8th grade tourney at pacesetters...Oakes-Hankinson stopped him, but isn't he from N. Cass?

I thought I would re-surface this topic to see what other younger players have emerged over the first half of the season.

Also - How big is Cody Springer?

Thanks. Was hoping he was a post. Anyone know of a good sized kid 6'2 or taller that plays in the post? 9th or 10th grade?

Alex Weston from Northstar, he is about 6'6". He is not a true post but the closest thing Northstar has. Also from there is Christian Kvilvang. He is 6'2" but a forward.

Wyatt Carr is the 8th grader, probably more like 6', but who is the Freshman?

Pharshall has a 6'3" freshman that's good and new town has a pair of 10th graders 6'3" posts and a 6'2" freshman forward that is pretty good

LaMoure has a sophomore Anthony Olson who can jump out of the gym. He is only 6' but can play with any 6'5" guys. Very athletic kid who is going to be a star in every sport he plays. They also have a freshman Drew Thielges 6'1" who is also been contributing off the bench and has led the scoring in a few games.

What about the 8th grade Hanson kid at North Sargent?

Hanson isn't too spectacular. They just don't have the gaurds they need so that's probably why he's playing so young. Oakes has a freshman Zetocha starting who averages 9 or 10 a game, and Milnor has a kid who's a fr. coming off the bench and making plays, does Springer start for N. Cass?

Zetocha 5'9" freshman 8.1 ppg on 28% shooting. 17 assists 25 rebounds 12stl.
Hanson 5'8" 8th 3.5 ppg on 38% shooting. 27 assists 33 rebounds 16 stl.
Marlatt 6' freshman 2.1 ppg on 43% shooting. 3 assists 9 rebounds 4 stl.

Zetocha is a nice athlete but shoots to much and takes some bad shots. Works hard.
Hanson is good, but should not be playing varsity. The school is just being stubborn about co-oping. He Leeds the team in minutes played and runs the point.
Marlatt is working his way up the Milnor depth chart. Shoots and passes pretty well for a freshman. Has advantage playing with better players.

Zetocha is the strongest and plays best D.
Hanson is best ball handler and best at getting to the basket.
Marlatt is the biggest and has the best shot.

Shiloh Christian will be tough. Talented freshmen that have played against Class A schools in middle school. They did quite well. They also have talented Sophomores. All are getting varsity minutes and contributing. They will be tough for a long time to come.

Someone told me Zetocha had 24 against E-K, is E-K good? Now his average is like 10 a game. And i agree with most of these, Hanson controls the ball very well and Marlatt is going to gain some experience and make an impact. The freshman Thielges from LaMoure really impresses me when I watch him play. He's going to be good

Lenzen from Hankinson is a freak athlete too! Edited that kid is jacked. i watched him play against F-C-T and the kid is so strong. and Oakes and Hankinson won the pacesetter state tournament led by Zetocha and Lenzen, which I think would be fun to watch those two on the same team.
