Why is. GCC getting votes? What have the proved? They only beat Midkota by two on a last shot.
Warwick is 3-0 with one of their best players out. I guess it is the beginning of the season but still.

Warwick is 2-1. They had to forfeit that first round game...doesn't matter the original result that's still a loss.

central cass has dominated the teams they played. I think they will be moving up the poll.

most of these teams are playing "easy" teams right now so i expect the rankings to fluctuate in the next 2 polls

From what I hear if they'd play more like a team instead of individuals they would be even better. :?

LOL - have you seen them play? The first half of the Maple Valley game was one of the best halves of HS basketball I've ever seen by one team. These boys have been playing together a long time. It never occurred to me that they weren't playing like a team. Is there some individual talent - yes. Are there some playmakers (Bresnahan and Zimmerman) - yes. But they are playing just fine, IMO. :D

Rugby will probably go up to about 9, TL-M-M and Griggs will probably fall out of receiving votes

Points -> First Place vote = 10 points, Second Place vote = 9 points...10th place vote = 1 point. There were 15 voters so therefore the max points a team could have gotten was 150.

LaMoure must have a really weak region this year and schedule I've seen them play an also seen north star play if they are the number five team in the state there is a big difference between 2-5 in the polls cause NS would beat them by 30 for sure

LaMoure may not have the most difficult schedule, but they'll face Hatton-Northwood later this month.

That game is in LaMoure on the 29th at 5:30 for those of you wanting to make a road trip.

LaMoure isn't a flashy team, they aren't going to put up 100 points but they are fundamentally sound, well balanced, play great defense, and well coached. I think they can compete with anyone in the state but it will all play out on the court. The hatton game will be a good barometer of where they are at.

NS playing a tougher schedule for sure. Great team no doubt.

One of the easiest statements to make is "that team isn't that good". LaMoure guys probably as grounded as any group of young men could be. Polls mean nothing to their coaching staff and I'm sure kids too. They have no choice but to play the schedule an AD made for them. What they have done is won every game so far by 13-27 points. 9-0

They will have a couple nice tests in Hatton-Northwood and Heart River over break. Loss might not hurt them. They are not a team to go out and "wow" anybody. They will defend hard, can push a bit, and can match up size and physicallity with many.

Loboes good example of a team that will play tails off whether 0 losses or 3 or 5 or 6. Might be a tough club to beat late in season if u run into them. To underestimate them might or might not be a good idea.

Are there any other undefeated's that are not listed on here? I count 10 unless my math skills aren't right. Is this all the undefeated team's in the state?
