Wow, didn't expect FW to put up 100 on DP. Guess they still need to work on their D a bit. Really surprised about this score. Either DP has a long way to go and FW is coming around quick.

Thought this was a very well played game. Intense, in your face defense the whole 32 minutes. Didn't think Mwkn/Leeds would win this one and definitely not by this much. I think Mwkn/Leeds needs to develop a bench quickly, tho. The 5 starters basically played all 32 minutes. There was one substitution 30 seconds before the half and when I left with a minute to go there had been any subbing. They might be in trouble if someone gets in foul trouble or there's an injury.

was it as close as teh score says?
it was an exciting game to watch, it was on bek tv. napoleon led by 2 at the half. they hit a 3 at the buzzer. napoleon had the ball with 11 seconds left and down by 1 but didnt get a shot off. horner had napoleon ready to play, to bad they couldnt pull off the upset off the year. hopefully it carries over and they that way the rest of the year.

Schmaltz hit a layup off the flex cut with under 15 seconds left so it was a good game. from what i saw on bek tv it wasnt any more then a 6-7 point game at all

Bowman getting ripped by Beach surprised me. I'm not surprised Beach won but I expected it to come down to the wire...

I would expect DP to have its ups and downs this year. You can't bring in new players and a new coash and expect things to work like a swiss watch this early in the year. Give them some time. They need to think about peaking at the right time of the year.

Didn't Kueber play for DP against Four Winds? Didn't see his name in the box.

NR-Sheyenne @ Lakota tonight, should be a decent game, both teams undefeated, (3-0), (4-0).

Steele 81
BCN 40

my guess is that Steele shot 80% in the first half and were leading 48-21 or something close to that. shot a high percentage because you could count on one hand the number of shots they took outside 5 feet.
expected to see a show of sophomores but Randall was really the only one to show up, went for about 30. he could get the rim at will in this game and is an amazing finisher. Hienze and Bartlett combined for 13 with 7 coming in the last 2 minutes. Bartlett did a little too much standing around and Hienze settled for the 3 a bit to much i thought, he looks like a strong kid so i expected him to use that and get into the lane and get to the line.

Wasn't really close the whole game, lakota got within 5 early in the second half but that was it. Pretty sloppy game, 44 TO's combined, neither team looked that impressive to me. Dist. 7 seems pretty weak to me so far except for a couple of teams.

north border played a really good game and was up 11 or 12 at the half, but Grafton came out in the 3rd with the press and continued throughout the 4th, getting turnovers and such. They pulled ahead at one point 42 to 41 but north border won by 5 or 6 at the end, but i cant recall the final.

That's a lovely fur you're wearing. Perhaps I could find you some slippers made from the skins of innocent and defenseless baby seals!

It seems really surprising to me that NR-S could easily start the season off 7-0 following the CNDC. But they will get a daunting test in Four Winds after the Christmas vacation.

North Sargent 48
FSHP 35

NS plays without Hansen, [ankle], and overcomes turnovers to get a win. FSHP struggles against a 1-2-2 zone, cold shooting, and drops 1st game.
Does anyone know if FSHP has seen much zone D in their first 4 games?

they've seen zone and man quite a bit each this year. Fshp was playin without Bergstrom(knee) probably one of their best shooters. They just didn't seem like they came to play. Thier offense wasn't lookin too good. Give North Sargeant credit they are a very solid team. Look for Ryan Drevlow in the next few years. He is one of the better post players i've seen this year and the kid is only a junior. He is the real deal. I look for both of these teams to be competing for the title in their district or be somewhere near the top.
