i don't think there is a team to beat after three games.

i have to disagree with this to say 10 points is 10 points isnt always the case. it couldve been a 2 point game with 40 seconds left and one team missed the rest of their shots while one team was 8-8 from the line and won by 10. and on the other side a team could be down 20 with 90 seconds left and the team trailing can hit a few 3's and make a 10 point game. in the first example the game was closer then the score indicated and in the 2nd it would be worse then the score would indicate.

Baseball could not agree with you more. Esp. in your second point. Last season I thought cavalier would be competitive after they lost to kindred and parhsall (i think?) in the hoopster classic by somewhere around ten points. So the whole season I kept talking about cavalier hung with these two teams but I got a pm that said they were down twenty pretty much the whole game but just got hot when the other team's jv was in. All I am saying is that you can't always trust a score to measure how close a game was.

Nativegolfer, lets not forget that was in overtime. From what I saw, alot of maturing to do over the Xmas break, and more meshing. They looked to be feeling each other out yet. That will come!

BCN beat Edgely 56-44 The varsity team came out of the game with a 25 point lead. That Bartlett kid had 23 i believe and Heinze had somewhere around 14.

North Border: 59
Fordville-Lankin: 40

NB was only up by one at halftime of this game and had a tough time shooting in the first half and F-L played hard and hung around much longer then people expected. Tanner came up big in the third quarter with 16 points in the quarter hitting 4 three's. NB improves to 4-0 on the year and Fordille-Lankin fell to 0-4 on the year. One of the biggest games in the state will go down on friday night in Grafton when the Eagles travel there to take on the one-loss Spoilers. Should be a great game going down to the wire like they did last year whenever these teams met.

Impressive. Maybe Bartlett and Heinze can play without Sizer.

BCN is very young and it's early in the season, give them time to learn the role the coach wants each one to play and maybe good things will happen again.Hats off to midkota I don't think the harding boys could shoot any better. They were impressive

it was an exciting game to watch, it was on bek tv. napoleon led by 2 at the half. they hit a 3 at the buzzer. napoleon had the ball with 11 seconds left and down by 1 but didnt get a shot off. horner had napoleon ready to play, to bad they couldnt pull off the upset off the year. hopefully it carries over and they that way the rest of the year.

well, looks like the doubters of DP's defense were correct. I think Four Winds is a little undderrated as well. However, if DP wants to be a top ten team, and make noise during the tourneys, it doesnt matter who they play they've got to step up the D.
