Players with better teams that share the ball will not score as many points and will not rack up as many stats in general. Yet they are more than capable of doing that. In some sense they are more worthy of the all-state team if they sacrifice some of their own personal stats for the betterment of the team.
@L2DS8: I think a major problem with the entire system is that voters haven't seen as many games as they should. They look purely at the stats.
My question: Why don't the coaches vote on this too? Not only do they personally see most all players but they also have access to a lot of film.
