WOW...quiting with a month left in the season, I dont get it. It will be interesting to see if the real reason ever comes out.

I agree that quitting w/ a month left is strange, but he won only 14 games in 5 years, and Bismarck is a big basketball town. St. Mary's seems like a pretty supportive school to keep him this long.

Is there a chance that he was "run" out by the parents. Its happening a lot...all it takes is one or two parents to start talking and next thing you know a coach is on the "hot seat". I've seen all too many times!

This article is just bad reporting! The paper says nothing about anyone accusing the guy of "stuff", but reports that the school administrator denies it! Where did the paper hear about the "rumor"? Pathetic. The 14 wins in 5 years wasn't enough?! If the article is true, and he just quit because he wasn't having fun anymore, then the players and parents are lucky.
