Minot High at Turtle Mountain

Postby toddjames » Mon Feb 22, 2010 12:40 pm

Winner seals up No. 2 seed heading into the West Region Tournament... What's everyone take?
Notes: Minot High won by double digits at home the first time they met with some hot shooting... Turtle Mountain is coming off a double digit win over top seeded Century, who beat Minot by double digits in their last meeting... Pretty important final game for both teams...

TM will be tough to beat at home. If Minot High can shoot well from the outside it should be a good game.

You would uncheels, you would haha lol...
No I'm thinking Turtle Moutain by a score of 75-63 or so... feeling its going to be high scoring but Turtle Moutain is hitting its stride so it might not be that close... if Minot shoots well they'll keep it close but I think Turtle Mountain is going to be out for blood after the last time they met, so they're likely to get this one...

It looks like Belcourt made adjustments on their zone and they're starting to really close-out a lot better...I don't think Minot will get as much good looks as they did the first game but Minot is still a very solid team...Belcourt is just too tough at home though..68-52 Turtle Mountain.

Willistonwho, don't start! You know The Bravettes are good anywhere! You guys need to quit worrying about playing in Belcourt and start concentrating on making YOUR team better. Plus, we all know what it means playing in Williston, disgruntled fans putting fish on the TM bus!

LmaO!!! Who puts fish on a bus??? It wouldn't of been bad if it was a Friday during Lent but whatever...WoW!! As for the game, Belcourt looked pretty sharp on both ends of the floor. That score didn't indicate the game, Belcourt could of easily won by 40, no lie. I'm sure Minot will bounce back though and these same two teams will probably meet in the Semi-Finals at the regional and look for that game to be a lot closer.

Friday during Lent LOL... Someone else I talked said the same about the 40-point deal... Looks like Turtle Mountain is getting strong at the right time (tournament time)... This will end up being a good game for both teams I think... Gave TM some added momentum and it gave Minot some added motivation having to go against a Jamestown team that beat them by 20 earlier in the year... They're both going to come out firing in the first round of regionals...
