Posted: Sun Feb 25, 2007 6:58 amThere is an 8th grade girl that plays on Mandan JV squad who see a lot of playing time. When she gets in the games she usually out scores some the freshman, sophmores, and Juniors. I believe she is the Assistant Coach's daughter. She has an excellent chance to make the Varsity Squad next year.

She is actually BJ Mertens little sister, so im going to assume that she has the same work ethic as her older brother and will make a very good bball player.
Posted: Sun Feb 25, 2007 11:07 amkelsey sigl have also been getting some decent varsity minuits this year... she has decent size and plays very good in the block... she is one of 5 sophmores getting into the mix for a very good bismarck high team... watch out for that class
