Let the fun begin... Who in the championship game to take all the marbles. I can see Shanley and Century in the final game.

EDC

1. Shanley
2. North
3. RR
4. South

WDA

1. Century
2. Bismarck
3. Minot
4. Mandan

All the Fargo teams.
Don't think Red River gets the nod over North considering North beat RR twice.

Century, Mandan and BHS are in with Minot vs. Dix being the play in game. I also think Mandan will beat CHS in the Semifinals. In the East I have WF instead of Red River. Grand Forks RR only does well in hockey and girls tennis.

Assuming Red River beats South at home on Tuesday, the playin game will be between South and West Fargo unless West Fargo beats North. That game could go either way, but I would lean towards South. This of course assumes no upsets from 6-10 seed teams.

WDA:

1. Century
2. Bismark High
3: Minot
4: Dickinson

EDC:
1: Shanley
2: North
3: South
4: Valley City (All of their tougher games as of late have been very close and i could see them pulling it off)

It is hard to predict Mandan or Dix without knowing what "Hand"stad can do. I see no scenario that includes Valley City in the state tournament unless a 3 class system is passed.

I personally think that Dickinson is a better team without Handsted. Don't get me wrong, Handsted is one the the elite players in North Dakota, to me it seems like they just stand around waiting for him to get it done. When Dickinson played Mandan in Mandan they beat them without him. But when Mandan played them at their house they lost by quite a bit. Im not saying they wont do good, it will be a good game, but i think Mandan will come out on top.

Mandan improved dramatically since then. 5-21 from 3 compared to 9-18 from 3 also matters.

Dickinson is not better without Hanstad. Mandan will be ready to play and will upset chs Friday.

Completely agreed. I had thought you said Dickinson was better without Hanstad and was prepared to completely rip you for it. I would enjoy a Mandan upset of Century. 6-0 would be a solid end to the season for Mandan.

I don't see Minot beating Bismarck at the Civic unless one of the Manson brothers are suiting up. I also don't see red river in. The rest of your picks could happen.
